Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern the use of the Kompas Podróży service (the "Service"), including the web application available at kompaspodrozy.pl. These Terms are issued pursuant to Article 8(1)(1) of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on the Provision of Electronic Services. By using the Service you accept these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions
Service – the Kompas Podróży web application and all related services available under the domain kompaspodrozy.pl and its subdomains. Administrator – Rainbow Horizon Dominik Michalski, ul. Polna 4b, 32-043 Skała, Poland, Tax ID (NIP): 5130248221, REGON: 366277755, operating in the Republic of Poland, email: kontakt@kompaspodrozy.pl. User – any natural person, legal entity, or unincorporated body that uses the Service. Account – an individual User account created upon registration. Premium Plan – a paid subscription providing access to extended features of the Service. Content – all materials created by the User, including trip plans, notes, budgets, and packing lists.
2. Account and registration
Registration with the Service is voluntary and free of charge. The User is obliged to provide truthful information during registration, to keep their access password confidential, and to notify the Administrator immediately of any unauthorised access to their account. One account may only be operated by one natural person. Sharing an account with third parties is prohibited. An account may be deleted at any time via account settings or by contacting the Administrator.
3. Services and free plan
Under the free plan the Service allows Users to create and manage an unlimited number of trips with up to 5 participants, use the catalogue of ready-made trip templates, keep a travel journal, and manage a trip budget. Features included in the free plan may change. The Administrator undertakes to notify Users with at least 14 days' advance notice of any material restrictions.
4. Premium Plan and payments
The Premium Plan is a paid monthly or annual subscription available to registered Users. Payments are processed by PayU S.A. (an entity regulated by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, KNF). The subscription renews automatically unless the User cancels it before the renewal date. After cancellation, access to Premium features continues until the end of the paid period. Prices are quoted in Polish zloty (PLN) and include VAT. VAT invoices are issued upon request.
5. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have the right to withdraw from a contract for digital services within 14 days of its conclusion, in accordance with applicable EU consumer protection law. The right of withdrawal does not apply if the digital service has been fully performed with the User's express consent and the User was informed before performance that the right of withdrawal would be lost upon full performance. 6. Permitted and prohibited use
The User agrees to use the Service in accordance with applicable law and these Terms. The following are prohibited: uploading content that infringes intellectual property rights, unlawful, offensive, or misleading content, attempting to gain unauthorised access to systems or other Users' data, using automated tools for mass data collection (scraping), overloading the Service infrastructure so as to impair its normal operation, and reselling access to the Service without the Administrator's written consent.
7. Intellectual property
All rights to the Service, including source code, appearance, editorial content, logos, and trademarks, belong to the Administrator or its licensors. The User is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service solely for purposes consistent with these Terms. Content created by the User remains the User's property. The User grants the Administrator a royalty-free licence to store and display such content to the extent necessary for the provision of services.
8. Limitation of liability
The Administrator will make every effort to ensure the Service operates without interruption but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and is not liable for technical interruptions or data loss resulting from circumstances beyond the Administrator's control. The Administrator's total liability to the User is limited to the amount paid by the User in the preceding 3 months. These limitations do not exclude liability arising from mandatory consumer protection provisions.
9. Complaints
Users may submit a complaint about the functioning of the Service by sending an email to kontakt@kompaspodrozy.pl with a description of the problem. The Administrator will consider the complaint within 14 days of receipt and inform the User of the decision by email. Consumers in EU countries may use the ODR (Online Dispute Resolution) platform available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
10. Changes to these Terms
The Administrator reserves the right to amend these Terms. Users will be informed of material changes by email or via an in-app notice with at least 14 days' advance notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept the changes, you should stop using the Service and delete your account.
